My heart is always a little sad to bid farewell to the Christmas season. I love nothing more than to create new memories, reminisce on past ones and keep traditions old and new with my own family. There's a happiness that exists in the air as most people try a little harder to emulate the concept of "peace on earth goodwill toward men". Yet I'm finding as I get older there too is a certain excitement of a new year. What will it bring? What adventure is just around the corner? What things will I accomplish or what weakness will I work to make stronger? With this thought in mind combined with the painful reality that my kids are growing up a little too fast I have resolved to keep a better family record via the family blog since I'm absolutely hopeless at keeping a consistent journal. I hope to come to the end of 2012 finding I have a years worth of great posts to look back on and laugh at!

YAY! I am terrible at communicating- but I DO keep up on blogs. We miss you guys terribly!
I'm glad! I'm terrible at journaling too, but I try to keep my blog up so we can look back at it in the years to come. It will be nice to see what you guys are up to!
