Jeff and the boys started off their Thanksgiving by joining the annual ward "Turkey Bowl Game". They have a good time playing. This year there were so many people that they did their own game in another part of the field with some of the youth that were there. Carter came home and the first thing he said was, "I made a lot of tackles mom!". Jeff and I always have joked that Carter is built like a lineman so that announcement seemed to be very appropriate for him. Later we had a great meal with all the trimmings with our friends the Magnusson's and the 3 sister missionaries that are in our ward. We are learning that even when you are away from family you can still find a proxy family to spend the holidays with and make the day a special time! We are grateful for the Magnusson Family and the great friends they have become. Happy Thanksgiving 2008!
