So as is commonly the case time has moved too quickly and we find that it is time for Jeff to deploy for his 5th and what we hope will be his final deployment to Afghanistan. We have our typical to do list before he leaves, but one of our primary "to do's" is enjoy and make the most of our family time. I thought I would give you a glimpse of the past few days leading up to his departure this past Saturday. We love our dad/husband and look forward to his return in May when he will be stopping by to say hi and then off again to report to his new job in JAPAN!!!!! Surprise!!!! Sherwood & Co. will be invading Japan's calm and proper way of living with our pure craziness this summer. We will be stationed at Atsugi Naval Air Facility located somewhat close to Tokyo. I believe it is a 45 min. train ride to the Tokyo LDS temple, 10 miles from the nearest Costco and bonus my aunt, uncle and 2 of my cousins live close by meaning we already have a babysitter! Don't worry Sam we will make it worth your while. The boys are excited about hiking Mt. Fuji and the girls are equally excited about the Hello Kitty theme park. As you can tell, we are all looking forward to this incredible opportunity and look forward to sharing our experiences with you! P.S. Don't forget we love visitors so start saving up!

I'm so glad you are blogging! I hope you can find plenty of things to keep you busy while your husband is away. You are one strong and amazing women and I miss you! Praying that things get easier and that you can all be together again soon.
